Little Purple Using Hood/Companion
And people different females who managed to slide the collar for a second or two of life had been branded “unhealthy.” —Clarissa Pinkola Estés, from Ladies Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Tales of the Wild Lady Archetype
The key nests in my marrow.
On the striptease I seem pirouette
I would present you
what it means to be consumed.
The pashadom and papacy come
to gush and perpetually satellite tv for pc spatter,
in the long run you’ll discover them
lined in a high-quality mist,
tasting of me.
What they have no idea— past the veil
I lay with the wolf
& the wolf
Discover me in a forest of tupelo,
cypress & black gum,
lobe, and blade.
Even a leaf can have enamel.
Human acts might be cannibalistic.
I’m right here
selecting the entire wildflowers.

This poem is a reimagining of a fairy story that held my creativeness as a baby. I used to be by no means happy with the tip of the story. I used to be suspicious of trappings that painted a lady and a wolf as unhealthy. This poem can be impressed by conversations with my finest buddy as we explored what it’s to be girls and to be wild. I needed to jot down a unique sort of fairytale, one which warns of the hazards of underestimating girls, and the place girls and nature are triumphant and a celebration. [Source here]
